Consolidating Two Condos into One

When my boyfriend proposed to me, we knew that it was going to be a very short engagement. We are extremely traditional, so we would not live with each other until we were legally married. That meant that we would need to consolidate two condos of possessions into one. There were some easy decisions on which sofa or table to keep. The harder decision was what to do with the things we weren’t keeping. When his younger brother asked for it, he told us to look at

It was the perfect answer for all of us. We knew that we would never recoup what we had paid for the furniture, which was a shame because we buy only the best quality. His brother would not be able to take it until he moved into his condo though, which was going to be a few months after we were married. He has stored things at Store Friendly before, so he was already very familiar with how great of a storage unit facility they are. He was picking up the cost of the storage fees since we were just giving him the furniture, so he needed something that was going to be extremely reasonable.

When we got married, we spent the first week after our honeymoon packing up both condos since we had purchased a bigger one together. Some of the furniture and household items went to the new condo, and the rest went to the storage facility. His brother helped too, along with some of his friends, so it went really smooth, and quickly too. We were able to get all of the furniture into the storage unit in just one day, and hopefully he will be able to use it soon. Even if it takes longer to get his condo ready, the storage fees are so reasonable that it will be okay.
